VicTsing Humidifier Review – Ultrasonic Essential Oil Diffuser
Face it – allergy season sucks. We all hate waking up with burning eyes, sore throats, and stuffed sinuses. We know loading up on allergy medicines can’t be the healthiest solution. So what options do we have?
Did you know dry air makes your allergy symptoms even worse? Dry air contributes to clogging your sinuses, making your throat sore and even giving you nose bleeds.
This is where getting a humidifier turned my life around. In this article, I’m going to talk about my experience with allergies & the VicTsing humidifier.
My experience with the VicTsing Humidifier
Every allergy season is painful. I wake up with my eyes crusted over, burning and with a plugged nose that’s somehow bleeding. No amount of nose blowing, scratching or drinking tea helps until I get some allergy meds into me.
I knew there had to be a natural way to help me find relief from my allergies. I had heard humidifiers were good for relieving allergy symptoms while you sleep, so I decided to try one out.
I placed my order on a Wednesday and got it the next Monday. I immediately got to playing with my new toy, excited to see if it would really help my sinuses.
Setup is extremely easy. The humidifier comes with a power cable, the instruction booklet, a measuring cup for filling and the humidifier itself.
Running the humidifier
Once your humidifier is plugged in, just add water to get started.
I got to say, when I first got the humidifier, I thought it was way too small. The 150ml version looked bigger in pictures, and I was initially a bit disappointed.
However, once I started using it, I found a full tank lasts about 7 hours! The 150ml version lasts pretty much the whole time I’m asleep. You can probably expect the 300ml version to last all night and into the morning.
You can set the humidifier for 1 hour, 3 hours or just leave it on until the tank is empty. I feel safe running the humidifier while I sleep because there’s an automatic shutoff as soon as the water runs out.
The LED lights and woodgrain design really make this humidifier visually appealing. You can alternate between 12 different colors, setting them to rotate or choosing a single color. Aside from the health benefits, this is a great piece to help create a relaxing environment.
• Buy a big jug of distilled water. With almost daily use it will last around a month.
• Less is more when adding essential oils – especially if they are high-quality oils
• Don’t lift the lid while the humidifier is running – this increases the chances of water getting to the electrical parts
• When draining your humidifier, make sure you only drain out of the drain side. Draining out the air-side can cause water to damage the electrical parts.
Using a humidifier helps to relieve allergy pain just by adding moisture to the air. You can double up on this benefit by adding essential oils designed to improve your sinus health.
If you guys decide to try this humidifier out, please let me know! I’d love to hear about your experiences as well as any questions you have. Thanks for reading!
